There are many ways to get involved with Unplug Your Class. First and foremost: try an experiment like this at your school, if you haven’t already.  Then, you can share your experiences with the Unplug Your Class community:

  • Comment on any of the news, tips, books or videos featured on this website.
  • Contribute a link to other resources about unplugging that you think students and educators would enjoy.
  • Leave your comments below.
  • Send us a message if you have any other thoughts or feedback.

Unplugging is easier, and more fun, when people do it together.

  1. Further resources for the book/readling list:

Better Off: Flipping the Switch on Technology by Eric Brende
In The Absence of the Sacred, by Jerry Mander
Why I Will Not Buy A Computer by Wendell Berry

    • Read offered some great suggestions. I enjoyed “Better Off” this summer and Wendell Berry is always perceptive and eloquent. Thought about including “Four Arguments for the Elimination of Television,” but this Jerry Mander book might be more appropriate to unplugging (and digital Sabbaths, of course).
